Devil’s Bridge in the protected landscape area Gleitsch about 14.9 km (about 19 min. by car) from Rudolstadt
The protected area Gleitsch is located southeast of Saalfeld and is 402m high. The protected landscape area and the surrounding area offers visitors a unique experience. Especially hikers and climbers appreciate the diverse flora and fauna. Climbers use the rock cliff, which consists of limestone walls for their hobby, hikers prefer to examine the great, wide view over the Saale valley they can achieve or the Devil’s Bridge.
The Devil’s Bridge is a ground monument, which is 6m high. What was then a cave, are now the remains, arched, like a bridge.
